The opioid epidemic puts man's best friend in the line of fire
The opiod epidemic is taking down man and beast. Tragically, in 2015, 36 police dogs died from contact with heroin. Today, they’re exposed to Fentanyl, which is 50-100 times stronger than morphine, and carfentanil, an elephant tranquilizer that can be 10,000 times more powerful. Ingesting a poppy seed-sized amount could be deadly. What can you do to protect our furry friends?
